Who may qualify
You may qualify if you are a living person who accessed cvs.com, cvshealth.com or the CVS app in the United States before July 27, 2026. No state limits. No notice ID is needed — the administrator offers a claim form for people filing without a LoginID and PIN. The $5 tier needs no proof; the $10 tier needs documentation of your use.
What the settlement pays
The administrator states you can claim up to $5.00 without documentation, or up to $10.00 if you provide proof that you used CVS's digital properties, such as browser history, dated screenshots or email receipts. Attorneys' fees, service awards and administration costs come out of the $20.5M first, and payments may be reduced proportionally depending on how many valid claims come in. Only one claim per household (same mailing address). Payment is cash by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or check, after final approval.
What happened
A lawsuit alleged that CVS and the ad-tech company Criteo tracked and shared information about visitors to CVS's websites and app without proper consent. The defendants deny wrongdoing and the court has not decided who is right; they agreed to settle with a maximum cash payment of $20,500,000 (Brewer, et al. v. CVS Pharmacy, Inc. and Criteo Corp., No. CACE-26-008094, Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit, Broward County, Fla.). The court granted preliminary approval on July 27, 2026, and the order is posted on the settlement site. Simpluris is the administrator.
How to file
You can file with the settlement administrator yourself, and it is free. The official settlement site is here.
Most people who may qualify for one settlement may qualify for others they have never heard of. Cashout checks the open settlements against a few questions, keeps the official filing page and the requirements for each match in one place, and reminds you before a deadline.
Cashout is not a law firm and is not the settlement administrator. Final eligibility and payment amounts are determined by the settlement administrator, not by Cashout. Amounts shown are what the administrator or the settlement documents have published; they are not a promise of payment. Filing directly with the official administrator is always free.
Checking which settlements may apply to you is free. Cashout membership is optional and is a subscription: a 3-day trial for $0 today, then $19.99 every month, renewing automatically until you cancel. The exact date of the first charge is shown at checkout before you enter a card. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
